Tennenbronn outdoor pool – modernisation work

INITIAL SITUATION: Modernization work on existing outdoor properties always present special challenges. An outdoor pool with several large swimming pools was completely renovated in this application. This also included the installation of new heavy steel panels for the pool edges. The elements are lifted into the prepared construction pits on site and installed. The externally prefabricated pool steps must be positioned precisely to the desired jobs. The question arose as to how the very heavy steel parts can be moved to the different assembly positions as quickly and safely as possible and must be assembled safely.

SOLUTION: The solution is the mobile SCHILLING-ALU gantry crane, which is characterized by its very high flexibility. The ALU gantry crane, equipped with a smooth-running chassis, is able to reach the various assembly positions quickly and easily. During the renovation of the swimming pools in the Tennenbronn outdoor pool, the very heavy steel plates of the side walls were lifted safely into the prepared construction pits. Even when installing the pre-assembled pool steps, the gantry crane from SCHILLING provided valuable services.

RESULT: The municipality of Schramberg in the Black Forest successfully used the SCHILLING-ALU gantry crane for the modernisation of the Tennenbronn outdoor swimming pool.
