ALU gantry crane - used for maintenance work at the airport

Today, escalators and moving walkways are an indispensable means of transport in department stores, railway stations or airports. Safety and reliability of the escalators are paramount, which is why regular maintenance and servicing work is also necessary.

At Frankfurt Airport, as well as at an airport in England, our aluminium gantry cranes are used to support maintenance work on the escalators and moving walkways.

A well-known, internationally active lift and escalator manufacturer uses the aluminium gantry crane with parallel adjustable side frame to install and remove drive motors. The heavy load can be easily moved on the girder, which is up to 6 metres long, by means of a trolley.

The pictures clearly show how important it is to be able to deal with confined spaces. Our aluminium gantry cranes, with parallel side frames on one side or on both sides on request, are ideally suited for this purpose.

Both the girder support and the two adjustable feet are height-adjustable, so the user can adjust the aluminium gantry crane exactly to the conditions "on site".
