Coronavirus changes working and production conditions

Last Friday, the World Health Organization WHO saw the new epicenter of the corona pandemic in Europe. While the number of active infections in China continues to decline, dropping below 10,000 acutely infected people for the first time since the end of January, the numbers in Europe and also in the rest of the world continue to rise significantly. Due to this worsening situation of the virus spread Corona, we have now also taken the following protective measures for our employees and our ongoing production.

The following preventive precautionary measures against COVID-19 are valid at SCHILLING Kran- und Hebetechnik as of today:

• Our commercial staff is now working in our home office, but can still be reached by phone. So the order processing continues.
• Also mails, contact requests as well as telephone enquiries will be processed further.
• We have divided our production into encounter-free shifts so that the continuation of production is ensured at all times and our technical staff can continue their work with the necessary safety clearance. Adequate hygienic means are available for every employee in the company.
• Deliveries of finished customer orders are also currently not affected.

SCHILLING has taken these preventive steps although no employees or their families have been infected with the virus so far. We, too, want to help to contain the spread of the virus and hope that you will continue to be well and that we will master this special situation together.
