Roof window assembly with the aid of a SCHILLING ALU gantry crane

One of our customers used the mobile lightweight gantry crane to install new roof windows on their own industrial building. Thanks to the flexibility of the lightweight SCHILLING gantry crane, the window installation was no problem despite the difficult roof construction.

Easy to transport and quick to erect, these are the great advantages of our fast erection gantry cranes. An ALU gantry crane with a required lifting height of 3.6 metres and a lifting weight of 500 kg was used for the work on the roof. Due to the low weight and the flexible components, the fast erection crane could be set up and put into operation directly without expensive assembly costs or technical inspections.

Due to the clear width of 7 metres, the crane fitted directly over the skylights to be installed and could be easily moved from window to window with the help of the chassis. An electric hoist helped with the precise placement of the heavy skylights. The aluminium gantry crane was thus the optimal aid for all work.
